NAPIT ( National Association of Professional Inspectors & Testers ) has been assessing the competence of electrical contractors for many years. The main benefit of using a NAPIT registered electrician is safety. NAPIT aims to protect everyone who uses electricity from unsafe installations, in their homes, work and leisure facilities. A NAPIT electrician has to go through rigorous testing regimes, to ensure that they meet the high standards and comply with the codes of practice as specified by NAPIT. NAPIT inspect each electrical contractor by assessing a sample of their work, equipment, premises, documentation along with testing and inspecting upon there request.
